Hey all,

Yesterday while heading down to the beach I picked up a state trooper running Ka C/O 34.7. I got over a mile detection with these factors:

90% Humidity
2 Mile long turn right, making this a slightly off axis encounter
LEO hiding in bushing shooting rear antenna
Heavy traffic ahead of me

I'm really impressed with my V1, it gives me far more time to slow down then I would have thought. I think I'm becoming a V1 Zombie!

Ka guard on, I have yet to turn it off since I am a little worried about false alerts.

This Ka guard thing gets way to much air time. Yes you get a little better detection but not much. Yes you get A LOT more false Ka alerts with it off, and yes the V1 ROCKS

Yeah, when I decided to change from my Redline to the V1 893, I went from 'just another gadget' to a full-fledged hobby. The downside is that I'm now spending a boatload on accessories. Oh well - screw it.
