Do the Pro-78/XTR-690 still show laser strength?

Random question: Do the new Whistlers still try to measure laser strength by # of pulses received, or is it always at the max 3 of 3 bars?

I believe Michael_B said that the Pro-73 measured strength, but I can't remember for sure....

I know for sure the Pro-73 platform does, and Mike's even posted a breakdown of how many pulses translates to how strong an alert. The question pertains to that of the XTR-690 and Pro-78. The only laser I've gotten (A false) came at full strength, while usually my laser falses on my 1793SE come at one or two.

It counts pulses just like th Pro73

I probably could have figured this out, since I've gotten laser alerts at several levels. I'm just not very on-the-ball tonight.
