Nice videos =) Keep them coming..I believe The Whistler would have beat or alerted at the very same time since your window mounts are higher vs the grill mounted antenna? I assume you were running FILTER mode with the 3600?

Yes, just filter mode (for the quickest response).

Again, I believe these results just demonstrate when away-facing radar is encountered and/or curves, the can be significant compression of sensitivity variance, but also remember, I believe KaMax, is pretty much of a beast, especially for such value-priced models.

K-band variances, on the other hand, are generally much more noticeable, especially with straight on approaches. I've got a video demonstrating the higher sensitivities of the Driver and Redline paying some dividends.

I agree! Ka Max is indeed a beast and gives my V1 (3.872) the shakes on Ka band.

A great example of Moving C/O Ka 34.7

Some criticized them for being misleading (due to alleged mis-mounting of the 9500ci). Now the situation is completely reversed. The 3600 is mounted in the front (with an unobstructed view forward in my wife's 'bru) and the two dash-mounts (both of which do not have LO leakage).
Unless you've tested these particular units against a Spectre III/IV, this statement is most likely false. Most of the M3s we have tested against Spectre are detectable within a foot or two.

I know from the last GoL in '09 my old STi Driver was detectable from just within INCHES of the Spectre. In a real world setting, UNDETECTABLE as advertised.

Very interested in the 3600. My needs are only ka and laser. So just driving around town, how much ka falsing are you getting? Is it one or two false alerts a day, or one every few minutes, etc. How does it compare to the dash models you're using? I guess others with SE based Whistlers could also answer this, with the similar platform. Thanks for testing the 3600. I've been reading every day waiting for more feedback on this!

Great videos...I can't wait to see more. Did you get the rear antenna or GPS module installed?

Wow...I am seeing a lot of "Veil Envy" going on around this forum right now....from Belscort to Whistler and the video reviews. Oh yeah...also saw the "dislikes" on your recent Youtube videos and gave them "likes" to counteract the children. Keep up the good work.

I personally gave both of his videos a "thumbs up". I mean, what's not to like about someone that calls themself a professional radar detector reviewer that runs two RDs this close together? But hey, if you're trying to make the Whistler mounted in the grille look good, what better way to do it than to make sure the two detectors you are comparing it to, are positively interfering with each other, by mounting them about an inch apart. "Thumbs up" all the way! Excellent work! Kudos!
