Interesting read on the patents especially about the radar gun ID'ing.

High on my wish/hope list for the new high end windshield mount whistler models:

Better filtering - but the introduction of TFSR apparently addresses this. But I won't know until I compare to my 690se.

Direction of threat like found in the 3600.

As previously mentioned - better K-band sensitivity.

Probably wishful thinking, but a multiple threat display mode would be nice.

Again probably wishful thinking but dump the damn flashy periscopes. I simply hate them. To their credit they at least give you the option to turn them off.

WHATEVER they end up doing all I can say is I hope they don't lose the real time accuracy (ramp up down, drop, etc) of the signal strength meter calibration they currently use.

Did you buy the new XTR 338? What about Ka 9 falsing, like in the XTR 690se I have, is that fixed with TSFR?

No its on my 690se. I had no Ka 9 alerts so far. The main deal with TFSR is it locks out traffic drones and blind spot system alerts.
