Default hey new here just got couple of question.

Hey hows it going, let me first say pretty darn good site here, wish I could of found it earler. Anyways I own a v1 3.864 for almost a year know, and I love it. But i had quick question I bout a bel 995 has a back up detector and I wanted to know if I could run these togehe. I have heard that detector dont like each other and will cause interfernance but bare with me for a while and I am going to tell you how would I set up each detector.

    Bel 995
    x and laser off
    k and ka on

    V1
    x k off
    Ka and laser on

Now since I got some band off on both, would this still be a problem of interferanic. Could turning off band on a detector, would this increase my v1 senstivity for ka band alot. Has any one done this.

I would like you feed backs thanks

I did it with both, but I need X band on, I know you have X off, but just so you know the V1 falsed on X, this goes to show that they interupt each other. As far as turning off bands will they still interfere with each other, my guess would be yes.

oh well that just sucks then doesnt it , I wanted to use the 995 for frequency display, so i know which ka radar frequency I am getting hit with.'

Would replacement matter at all to, for example one is up hight and one is down low.

I was thinking the same thing. I can say running the 2 together, I think the V1 suppressed K on the Bel, I passed a typical K false and the Bel did not alert like it typically would.

do not run both of them together because the performance will suffer on both
