Is the RX55 as good as the RX65? I see that it's a lot cheaper in price.....Can someone list any big differences? Is the range the same between the two?

The RX55 doesn't detect Ku band.

The RX55 is a great detector for the price, but at the lower price point it falses a bit more than the 65 and has slightly less range and features. It shares the same case mould as the RX65 but in matte black plastic. Roy [owner of this site] rates it well here:

It's been discussed a bit before on this forum. Try searching 'RX55'.
You only need to worry about Ku band for now if you live in Europe.
I found that the unit didn't false any more than the rx65, and the detection is so close there really isn't any difference! The one thing I like better about the rx55 is that it seem's to weigh about half as much as the rx65!Originally Posted by swifty
