Brand new Redline, problems.

I had it for approximately 3 months and recently it is not alerting me on the usual spots like construction speed signs(a lot of them in the metro) regular automatic doors i know alerted me before and havent heard ka in awhile.

Anyone experience this problem before? I know its not a "smart" detector that knows those signals were junk so it has to be something else.

I once had an X50 S7 that stopped alerting to Ka. Never had a problem with the Redline though. First thing to try is a factory reset.

I had the same problem with at least K-band after about 2 years of ownership. I sent it in for repair and Escort fixed it pretty quickly, along with a note explaining what exactly had been done.

Your's should still be under warranty if you bought it new from an authorized reseller. If so give Escort a call with your serial number and they should be able to help you out.
