    Default LI testing request

Now that it seems likely that the LI is the real deal I (like many others I'm sure) am anxious to see some nicely controlled tests from GoL or others. What I would really like to see since it seems likely that 2 heads will protect most vehicles, is some testing front and rear of different vehicles (maybe a hard, medium, and easy vehicle) with one head so that people can decide whether to buy 2 heads or 4.

Thanks GOL, for all that you've done to separate fact from fiction in Stealthological Science. You rock.

    Yes, they do rock.

What does this have to do with my suggestion?

I would like to see also sensitivity tests, to know when the jammer picks up the beam and how far is that from receiving diode.

X2! That way we could know what's the detection diameter for one LI head.

Detection Diameter may be close to 3 feet or more from a distance of 55ft. That is insane.

    How is that possible?

I mean, if the beam is only yay big, how can something not hit by the beam pick it up?

It can pick up beam scatter. It reflect from car, bounces back to the LIDAR, but also from some surrounding objects and then back to the car. That's what is then picked up by LI. As far as I know V1 is also great at that...
I know it's not very technical explanation, but you can get a picture...

Correction*** I got it mixed up. I meant "detection radius = approx 3 ft" for each head. I think two heads on the front of a small sedan guarantees JTG performance but it is a little overkill.
