Sorry this one has been bothering me, but 16ms is 16/1000 not 16/100. So .0016 seconds. Trying to test this with anything other than a POP gun would be nearly impossible I'm guessing.

Roy's test are bull**** and they remain bull**** because belscort pays for him to talk out of his ass. THERE IS NO WAY he yielded those results with a belscort product. They can't even detect POP(2) when the gun is within a foot...never mind a couple hundred or a few thousand feet away!

Well, even the direct Escort Rep will tell you that their detectors do not detect K-Band POP.

This misinformation is more directed at generating sales of products (including Escort/Bel) on this website for which Roy get's a cut. Since there is no $$$ to be made on the V1 (Valentine does not work through authorized dealers), Roy is similar to Craig Peterson with his attacks on the Valentine to turn sales towards "his" products.

This infomercial on the STi Driver pretty much hit's all the important points while screwing up what facts Roy has in his little bag.

#1. The Valentine is "expensive" and "outdated"..........because it's not stealth? I can think of a detector he called a game changer that is not stealth either. You will notice that he cuts off the top of the "test results" chart in his video........cause the V1 trashed the STi Driver. In fact it was right up there with the better M3s.

#2. The bungled facts about why the Driver is undetectable. The specially designed horn(s)........yes. The magnesium case.........has absolutely nothing to do with it! That over priced V1 (that retails for $70 less than Driver) wears a magnesium skin too.

#3. The admission on how this guy makes his money...........referrals on sales.



If you watch his vid on the RedLine you will learn that the RedLine uses two horns to detect EVERY band!!

Funny how the RedLine "Stole the Crown from the Valentine as the Long Range Detector" in that video. From overpriced and obsolete to King of long range detectors...........depending on the story line.

Again, it's a shame. The products from Escort and Bel do not deserve this kind of cheesy misrepresentation of facts and overselling points.

And a good one too. Before I knew anything about detectors, I watched his videos and believed everything he said about them. His authoritative aura in describing detectors is clever, but very misleading and disappointing.

Outdated and Expensive V1!!!! How can he say that when the driver, which he is reviewing, costs more!

Last time I checked the V1 was one of the best deals on the high end RD market.

The V1 sucks, it's obviously outdated, but averages 2nd on the testing, just a hair below the $500 Redline. It beats the $1200 Ci, on 2 out of 3 bands, and poos on the detector I'm currently advertising right now. At least he keeps those results what appears to be honest. The RL does outdetect the V1 on Ka and K a lot, but is slow.

Like at his eyes it look like that he was reading the script to the left of him. Outdated V1 how can somebody said that when it's not.
