Is it possible that they did not have their radar on?
my thinking is false alert filtering should be part of the red line itself! Not needing to pay an expensive fee every month to do that. A lot of detectors have that built in already. Save your money...
I have the 9500 CI and escort said that mounting the radar head behind a plastic bumper wouldn't inhibit detection. Why would tint be any different?
I wouldn't touch this system because of the monthly fee. I would put that money into the best equipment. I don't see the reasoning in reporting something your equipment is supposed to be telling you!
get a cheetah C 100 or GPS mirror. You can set them to not go off under a certain speed.
Was wondering if anybody still has an Escort SR7 in any of their vehicles and are still using it? Have access to a free one from somebody and don't know if it's just not worth putting it in. Would...
I like your set up. Exactly how I am going to be set up. Except for ham am going to use Kenwood B-2000 with a remote faceplate and Uniden scanner 996 with mobile faceplate. Saving on space. ...

Why do you have to keep taking it down?
My brother and me will be buying one for my mother for Christmas. Was going to get a GPS for her anyways so this is perfect.
What valentine remote?
Works for running tolls also.
I went and read the brochure and e-mailed him and I made some assumptions that you could keep the light on with some kind of timer knob. He said there's nothing manually on the unit to keep it on. ...
You're right. Outside it is.
Final confirmation from e-mail to Veil. It's not a matter of the plate cover reflective being plastic. Just matters how glossy the surface is.
So what makes the difference of my clear plastic protector and car windshields when many laser detectors like the Valentine and Redline are behind your windshield? No one has said I should Veill my...
I have a clear protector plate and I'm going to airbrush the veil. Doesn't matter if it's on the back or inside of the shield or does it have to be on the outside? I want to do it on the inside so...
How many coats did you put on? What is the recommended number of coats or what to look for using a airbrush? Airbrush lays out a lot thinner coat then brush.
Unfortunately, that's not how it works. Cameras are digital now, so you can't "overexpose the film". Video will eat that thing alive. Trust me, I thought of and tested this months ago![/QUOTE]
