    Default Corvette C6 LI Install

Here's a few pics of the Laser Interceptor mounted on a corvette C6.

Sorry I couldn't get a full front shot of the car - I had it pulled forward in the garage as I was working on the Kart

Heads are mounted in the grille (basically the only option) towards the outer edges - similar to erikonphoenix's install.

The control box is tucked up under the passenger footwell and wired into the fuse panel. this location is easy to reach, easy to wire, and allows the alrets to be heard very well without the use of an external speaker.

Switch mounted in the console next to the traction/stability control switch.

Try it on a C-5, you're lucky. Nice job.

The panel that the switch is mounted in does not open - I think it normally holds the switch for adjustable suspension on corvettes that are so equipped.

Where did you go through the firewall? I decided to do the Cheetah wireless install as I did not want to drill through the firewall.

Does that panel snap off easily?

That panel pops off very easily - I just used a small flathead screwdriver.

I did not run the wires through the firewall. They fit easily between the fender and the frame/firewall on the passenger side, and then slip under the rubber weatherstripping as they are very thin.
