    Default my install: STi, Dashcam, scanner, Ham, GPS

    i got the STI hardwired on the left of the RVM on the right is my garmin 255w

    on the bottom is a rci 2950dx radio under that in the console is a radio shack pro-2096 apco 25 digital scanner ..

    i didnt show the outside for obvious reasons
    i made a home made mount for my camera today
    i use a cupholder ashtray
    drilled the hole bigger ,put a plug inside so the rod wont move also put a plug on top stabilization...

    dont laugh lol it works for me

    Innovative camera install. Using the cup holder as the base for the camera mount. Have you done any test drives how the video quality is?

    ya the quality is not too bad but the roads here are ruff as hell

    im going on a trip tuesday ill get to try it out good

    its just temporary until i can find a better way to mount it

    Yah, I too would be interested to see the quality of the video;

    Not to jack the thread, but has anybody tried using simple velcro strips to attach a lightweight camera to the right or left front window frames?

    im open to any suggestions on where and how to mount it in a better way..

    it has 1/4 threads on the bottom of the camera

    That is one of the most weirdest camera mounts i have ever seen.

    The ChaseCam suction cup mounts are rock-solid (but pricey).
