Valentine 1 does not detect NJ State Troopers?

I know there is laser, my friend is using an M20 and gets hit quite often. I've been searching on this forum and people have said 195 is mostly covered by radar, i'm just wondering if this is still true. I'll eventually get the AL8, but not till spring.

Maybe they got sick and tired of us making fun of their K-55 X band radars. Still, they can make plenty of money with instant-on X band!

Do they still use laser in the cold weather? Don't they normally have to have the window rolled down or be standing outside the cruiser to use laser? I did read somewhere that the newer lasers can be used through windows.

Haven't run into any runnin laser just yet.

In what areas do you mostly travel? I mostly stay around Ocean/Monmouth county, with trips to NYC. Are you saying you haven't run into any State Troopers using laser guns? I've been pulled over on 195, and on the ticket it said LSR under equiptment used. Might have been LASR, I forget.

West of exit 26 on 78 (all the way to Pensi). And 287 going both north and south, from exit 9 all the way up to exit 54.

This is happening to me also (3 years old?). In Alabama stationary cruiser locked me in at 83 in a 70 and the V1 never went off. He said it was a brand new unit and didn't even know the name of it. Said nothing on the market could detect it. Anyone know what he's talking about? Is LIDAR undetectable? Thanks

I got busted today by a guy in Edmond Oklahoma that said I was doing
60 in a 45 and my V1 (v.1point8) never went off.

The only way I knew he clocked me right was that he actually stated
"The reason I stopped you is because you were going 60 in a 45. Any reason for your speed sir?" Yeah, I didn't see you coming. lol.

I was doing precisely 60 though.
