V1 and Toll Transponder: Any Issues?

I have a V1 and my FasTrak toll transponder is on the way. Have there been any reports of interference between these two devices? I may try to mount them close together - the toll transponder might be good camouflage for the detector, making it more difficult for people outside the car to see.

Any thoughts?

No, just make sure the V1 has a clear view through glass and isn't staring into the big white block because there's no cops in there.

You will notice when you go under them Fast Trak devices (i.e. toll roads) the lazer goes off. Its kinda and you know the system is working. It goes off for 2 seconds when you drive under the toll detector.

Is that the way the clock speeders going through the toll?
They know who you are by the transponder tag.

V1 and toll transponder will not interfere with each other.

Some booths (depending on the equipment used) will cause laser alerts. I believe this is for some sensing equipment on the roof of the booth, perhaps something to sense the size of the vehicle going through (to determine whether to charge "car" vs. "truck" rates). It doesn't measure speed AFAIK.

I went to a Engineering Conference last summer with my job, and one of the projects was the I-355 expansion which is a toll road. One of speakers was talking about our new "Open Road Tolling". I went up after and asked the speaker what the laser sensed when going through the toll. He said it senses the height of the vehicle and the length. I'm not sure it's one or two sensors, sometime I get one long hit and other times I get 2 shorter ones.

So, if the laser is detecting height / length, then how are they detecting speeding through the toll lanes? (My brother-in-law borrowed my toll tag ONCE, :x and I got a letter afterwards saying he was speeding through a toll lane.)
