I have my V1 hardwired to cigarette lighter fuse, which turns off when key is turned off. Is it possible for V1 to still draw on battery when it is off ??

If the cigarette lighter turns off when the key is turned off, there won't be any battery drain from anything connected through the cig lighter circuit. You should be fine.

seriously....
Thought it was BS, but that is what Lexus dealer said !!
There will be no battery drain.
Where would that power come from?
If you turn off the spigot, the water stops flowing.
It depends on what your car battery is designed to handle. I don't know about Lexus, but my Impala pulls ~40mA when the key is off. The V1 draws 225mA when in standby. That could drain your battery over the course of a few days if you didn't recharge the battery, but a lot of the Lexus, BMW, and those type of cars have a typical key-off drain of <400mA...but I don't know what the battery specs are on those cars. I can't imagine it being easy on batteries, or for one to expect to be able to start the vehicle if it sat longer than a week.
225mA is generally not a lot of draw, but it would drain your battery over the course of a week probably ... maybe two... depending...
