    Default STi and service required messages?

    I have been out of the loop for a long while. When I left there were some folks that were reporting that their new STi's were coming up with the service required messages... Has this turned out to be an anomoly or is this still an issue?

    The most recent version seems to be stable.... like all Bel products the Service Required meassage does come up on some units

    A4M9 AFAIK. I'm running an A3M8... pleased but the serial # sticker on the back is smudging And the speaker seems to have blown out, X band now sounds like I ran over a cat.

    Man, you gotta warn a guy when you post something like that! Shooting ice tea out ones nose and all over the monitor is painful! Is this the internal speaker or the external one that is dead?

    A2 version the first run that Roy sold. A bit chirpy with Ka band falses especially on the busier US highways.

    I may return it for a the newer version.

    See so im not the only person haveing this problem with Belscort products and blowing out speakers now i don't feel crazy like i was called before ive had two blow out on me too and no body beleived me...

    Are you having problems with your current model ? I haven't had an issue yet. I run mine in BIG truck pulling doubles through Ohio and Michigan.
