Thanks for the information does anyone if there any difference in performance from an early 995 to a newer one? I believe the one I have is an older one my firmware reads V995 3.2 FCC ID: QL4G1S7. I know older Bel RX 65 had problem with POP alerts but have not had this problem while in POP mode.

i belive the reason they changed the up the verison was b/c of a laser falsing problem or somthing like that i dont know for sure though :? if your 995 dosent have a stainless steel or an aluminum faceplate its older

Thanks for the information. Mines does have the metal faceplate and also came with three extra faceplates.

I have version 4.5 on mine....also the never model has the 995 written across the middle in big letters.....the older faceplate has Vector 995 written across in an arch format.....confident that they are not any different inside besides maybe firmware version
