I drove away and it continued to flash POP then change over to a full Ka alert. I kept my eyes open for a while but didn't see anything. I finally got onto an open stretch of the freeway and it still persisted. I finally cycled the power and it stopped. I'd say the alert lasted almost 5 minutes.
I'm in the rural desert of CA which is normally enforced by state patrols with Ka and, as far as I know, no one has confirmed the use of POP in the US. That leads me to believe there's a problem with my rd.
My RX65 is less than a year old. Would it be worth sending it in for repair if I can't replicate the problem and it has never displayed the "Self-Cal"?
