I have an 895 that I imported from America to Australia, for a considerably reasonable price as radar detectors start here at ~AU$450.
I think I paid about $300 all up, after the cobra I bought (uneducated + ebay =) died within a week and I had to post it back.

The Bel is constructed infinitely better, considerably sensitive, and is a great buy for the price.

Only gripe is it falses like crazy, I'm learning to tell the difference between falses and real alerts though now.

Oh as well as the relatively short range on Ka, the radars here only output ~0.5mwatt, so it's pretty hard to detect. It's a lot better then the cobra though and it gives you at least 5ish seconds before you enter the radars sights. I'm glad they only have 40m range!
