Training my girlfriend

So, driving along and K Band goes off 2 bars everyone once in a while and tell my girlfriend that a CVS or Walgreens is around here......

So later we are driving at night and KA goes off and then stops....my girlfriend says that there's a CVS around and then asks..'Why is it saying CAVEMAN?" I start laughing...again short burst of KA.....and I tell her it is saying KA Band.....and that there is a cop around....The KA alert begins to keep steady and then ramps up to full and I tell my girlfriend that the cop will be one of the cars aproaching us, about 5 cars after it went full the LEO appears heading towards us....I received more than ample range from the 1st KA alert on a straight residential street...

Think the BEL V995 is well worth the money

Dude, you will never ever get ya mrs to understand the whole radar thing...you would be better of training your pet frog to fetch you beer from the fridge!

Agree, it's hard yakka, often pointless. But at the end of the day, as long as the house is clean, dinners cooked and i have cold beer, what's man to do. You can't put brains in statues

I have to disagree there. My girlfriend fully understands the RD, and has seen it sniff out LEO on multiple occasions. She also knows X, K, Ka, and Laser. It is great! When she drives her car, I usually take the RD out of mine and put it in hers. Good times!

My girls loves to use the RD on the highway, but finds it annoying to use in the city with all the k band falses.

Turned K band off when in the city, Leo's only use ka band here.

Oh ya! My wife is a believer as well. She is paying attention to different bands and frequencies now. She loves it when a Ka alert sounds and moments later she sees a CHP. Tomorrow the RD goes into her car for our drive up north.
