Got my extended warranty for the RX-65 today. It's good for 2yrs beyond the original warranty date.

I got my RX65 for Xmas and want to get the extended warranty. Does any one know what the time line is you can purchase it? Is it any time during the first year of ownership?

I bought my RX65 in September 2006 and purchased the extended warranty in January 07.

i know it can depend on where you buy it from, if its from circuit city, you have 30 days after purchase, and they have wonderful service

I purchased my 995 from Circuit City... I called Bel. You can purchase an extended warranty ANYTIME during the factory warranty period (first year).

I also did this but never got a package confirming this warrenty. I called they said it is in the system so it is not a problem and said they would resend the package if i wanted, but again it never came.

Just wondering what they send you and is it worth calling them again about it?

I dont know why bel advertises the rd comes with a warranty form to fill out and send it in.
Clearly stats that it does.
