RX65 - no volume whatsoever

So as I turned my car on, I noticed that my unit made no noise confirmations....doh. I tried turning the volume up and down, resetting it, and powering on and off. Still no sound.

Guess ill try sending it in.

hmmmmmmmm.... does it display a volume bar when you try to turn it up?
maybe your not holding the button down long enough

Same thing happened to the first one I owned, I sent it in and received a replacement..

The speaker seized or something, you CAN plug in some headphones to get sound, but that is no fun.

That is no good to hear. I was going to replace my Escort 8500 with an RX65 because the speaker stopped working, but if the problem is happening to the RX65 I might as well go and buy a V1 :\

Send it in, or put some headphones in the jack

Ya. nobody beleives the AlPiNe~ though when he forewarned everybody on here that belscort has speaker issues. It seems a common problem with belscort products. Hence why i never run any belscort of mine past half throttle on the volume.
