    I have heard them different things than the white lines...your best defense would be a police scanner for those traps

    I don't really understand the point of knowing that there is more than 1 threat of any particular band out there anyway. Just tell me how strong the strongest is, that's all that really matters.

    I'd also be curious to know how a detector can differentiate between differents threats on the same band, I mean if two cops are using the same radar gun, it's going to be the same frequency. How could it possibly differentiate that into two differnt threats as opposed to one? A V1 may be able to do it directionally, but nothing else can.

    I'm no expert but i would have to say the different gun frequencys

    crazyVOLVOrob is correct, they use different frequencies. Even two guns of the same model will vary slightly in frequency. I don't know just how different they have to be to be detected as different sources by the detectors. I would think a difference of a few MHz would be common...
