This evening I ordered V955 for my friend as a gift. Radar Roy was not there when I called them.... I was waiting to get some discount from Roy. But CC said they don't have any special now. Then I placed the order online. They shipped the product right away....

Watch out for instant on, just make sure you got a rabbit in front of you. Stay about 10 - 15 seconds back.

Yes, I do intend to be careful. I'm not sure if Oklahoma uses a lot of Instant On, though. Its not posted in the regional information but very little is anyway. Perhaps I could make an addendum to it.

Instant-On is used 90% of the time in all states. Many officers are using this technique to defeat RD's. Closest thing to POP but can legally be used in court. IO is used in your are so be smart. Even with my X50 at the time i managed to get nailed with IO ka-band.Words of wisdom and painful lesson learning. :!: [replacer_img]

Also congrats on your purchase from ROY. I bought my Rx-65 from him and my two blinders and he is a great guy!

WHOA, 90%?! Here in the St. Louis, MO area it's less than half that. Probably closer to 15% of my encounters are IO. Hopefully it says like it is though. I assume it will as long as they keep hiring lazy cops.

Well like I said, I plan on getting the lay of the land with this thing before I try anything to daring. And when I do the deed its like 80s in 65 or 70s. Nothing -too- bad. I had an XRS 9750 before and I don't know if I trust it honestly. Hipos in OK use Ka Constant from what I read on the regional forum but my cobra didn't come up with anything but a K alert when we met in the middle of that bridge.

..So yeah. Im not gonna be Dr. Dare till I get comfy with it all again.

    -edit-

Well, seems it won't be till Friday when I get it. Says it was rescheduled after sitting in "Billing Information Recieved" since Monday. Thats just great. My trip is Thursday night. At least the shipping was free.. :?

Perhaps I should have went with CC after all.
