V995 firmware 3.6

I never really gave much thought to the firmware I owned but just discovered that I own version 3.6.

This is the one that has saved my ass ass on too many occasions to count. (old faithful i guess).

What can you guys tell me about this version? I know that 4.5 is the current firmware. What changes were made from the my version to the current version. Also, what other versions exist. I saw someone talk about a version 3.2 on some post in the forum.

I know the RX65 had a version 3.6. Does this mean the detectors were exactly identical? I always heard a v995 was like a rx-65 running in international mode and it would make sense if the firmwares are exactly the same.

Finally, how does this compare to the STI's firmware version?

Actually, I have spoken to Escort regarding the 995 and they told me that is the same as the RX65 and the Escort x50, just a few less features, like threat display.
