Once I followed a big rig towing a flatbed (empty), and I was in my pickup, this was on a winding road (PSL 55) and I couldn't keep up, I was pushing 80-85 with a pegged speedo
I've spent time driving the pickup with a trailer and something heavy on it, thus going slowly, usually on routes frequented with truckers, and I can definately agree that an RD is something "fun to play with" to break up the monotony of 50-60 MPH.
I drove past a trucker once who had a radar gun inside his cab. My RD was going nuts out in the middle of nowhere and couldn't figure out what the hel was going on until I saw it inside his cab window later on down the highway.
Talk about entertainment.

Well truckers are not the only ones that are road hogs. I see more dumpb crap that four wheelers do also. I agree that its a pain in the butt when a truck gets out to pass on a hill and don't have enought speed to do it and then just hangs their.

On the interstate, most usually stay in the middle and right lanes. When they do pass, most actually try, then move on over.
But of course, there are always the "bad apples." For example, coming back to Orlando, I saw this USPS semi. He seemed to be late or something. Passing on a double line, when there were cars coming :shock: . Swerving within his lane. Let's just say I didn't feel safe following him :? .
