Whole band. USA Mode / Accusweep is a Beltronics thing.

    Superwide Ka = 33.4 - 36 GHz

Most radar detectors scan the entire range, which is huge.

Narrow Ka can mean different things depending on your area. V1 Euro Mode uses a narrow Ka for better detection of the Multinovas etc. RX65 has USA Mode which scans 33.8, 34.7 and 35.5 +/- 100 MHz.

Since the Ka range is so huge, scanning just what is in your area will speed up the scan and you will get alerts sooner - as shown in the GOL test I posted.
    Well put, Now I understand

Why 3x the current price?? Isn't it basically the same unit with some phone cord and such thrown in?

Beltronics RX75 and Escort's Passport SR7 are around $1000 - and they don't have all the features of an RX65 or X50...
