which cb to go with sti ??
im thinking of getting a cb for channel 19...which do i get thats cheap and wont interfere with my sti or fm transmitter ?

im looking fo something handheld for $100 or so i can pick up off ratshack which is fairly decent....4 mile range and works inside the car with no static.
either that or amazon.
I second this question...and not to hijack the thread, where do you get those small antennas the cops have on their trunk lid? Thanks...

Remember the 'shorter' the antenna the worst the coverage. A 1/4 wave is basically 9 ft long. The better 'short' base loaded antenna's would be like a k-4x or ones of those 'class'. There is a lot of difference between base loaded antenna's. Stay away from very short cb antenna's, there isn't much there to radiate a signal.

I wouldn't go with a handheld unit, but that's just me.
Go with a built in unit. You can mount it between your seat and the center console.
