question about firmware

Since the time the rx65 came out to now, have there been any changes in the range of detection? or simply updates to lower falsing? I ask because I am considering buying one off ebay and have no way to tell what version it is. Also, if the unit ever stops working because of a manufacturer defect I can get it repaired for something like a 60 dollar fee (since I will not have original receipts) correct? Thanks, any help is appreciated

avoid buying on e bay. you will only suffer.
buy one directly and if not happy u can send it back.
i am dissapointed with mine a lot.
how do you feel about your v1?

The valentine is good.. although it needs some updats which i feel effect the performance.. it would cost like 175 or something to update, so instead I'm selling it to a friend for 250.. and then I just want one of those 200 dollar rx65 off ebay.. I like bel and I like money, so it works out.. out of curiousity, did you get your rx65 from one of the ebayers who sells hundreds of them? or just some random person?
