9500i vs STi Driver vs. RX65 vs V1

Just got back from a 600 mile trip with the STi. It seemed to me that the filtering was typical Belscort, very competent. Got some falses around strip malls and supermarkets as I passed by, but every detector will alert to those sources.

The only caveat I have so far with it is it seems that the audio ramp up does not match the visual ramp up.

Point of reference: I've driven about 1200 miles this past week with both the STi and V1 going. They were initially separated by about 15", but I increased that to about 30" (my 3.826 V1 may leak more than the older versions per GOL testing). I turned X off on both, turned POP on on the STi (POP is on by default on the V1), ran the STi in Autoscan and the V1 in little logic mode, both to reduce K falses. Due to the different filtering techniques, they both "falsed" comparable amounts (but different per encounter) in K, but both gave decent range for real K alerts - V1 often quicker, but not always. Unfortunately, I did not encounter any 33 GHz Ka or real POP. I did get 13 Ka POP apparent falses from the STi, 12 presumably from other leaky detectors in opposite direction, and one that kept repeating from a small boxy looking detector in same direction. I also got 2 J-type aborted alerts from the V1. I did encounter plenty of 34 and 35 GHz Ka. The V1 seemed to have the edge on 34 Ka, and the STi seemed to have the edge on 35 Ka unless that was just due to mounting position (Sti was on Driver's side, LEOs were mostly in median). So, for comparable performance, the STi definitely had more Ka falses.

the v1 is the best. i have a bunch of detectors and tested them my self. the v1 is on top followed by the bel 985, third place x-50 8500, and last the bel pro rx65. I also found a ramping up problem with the rx65 version 6.1( signal strength meter sucks) I cant say for the bel sti at this point.
