Anyone else get a hat from Beltronics?

I bought a STi driver late December and immediately registered it online. About 2 weeks ago I sent it in for a flash upgrade. I had called Beltronics about it last week wondering about its status and they said it would be another week or so before I got it back, which is reasonable. I got a package from them today however that was a little too small and too light to be my RD. Instead it was a cap that says STi Driver on the front. Its actually pretty cool looking and I might actually wear it while driving around. Anyone else get this? I assume it has more to do with me registering the RD than the service Im getting.

I returned my hat because the ramp up stinks on it. But they wanted to charge me $59.95 to look at the hat. I'm thinking maybe I should get a V1 hat, it kinda looks like a Sherlock Holmes "deerstalker" hat.

I just received my hat yesterday. I was thinking to myself, "I didn't order anything from them recently" when I saw the small box in the mail. Like yourself, I too purchased my STi in December (from Radarbusters.com) and registered it the same day. I also purchased the extended warranty on it. With a $450 detector, I want to be safe in case something DOES go wrong. I am wearing it around town currently. Not bad for free!!!!!

I got my Cobra hat, I get so many chicks with it too, but the finger from other guys at the bar. I am getting a lot of headaches from the falses.
