M4 VS S7

M4 VS S7 PLATFORM...Will the difference make one rd better than the other? I see most of the newer rds are m4. Does that mean the older rds have better detection range. I dont know if i should find an old S7 or keep my V955 M4.

There is nothing inferior about the m4. Period. That's all I'm going to say.

Ill answer you, most people think there better then others on here so...

I had the two different horns your talking about and, from "my experience" a good tuned s7 will well out perform any of the m4 horn platforms..Only because the S7 see's to the side alot more due to the horn design but is also made alot better as well...

Seeing a wider area makes it easier to pick up laser scatter and thats very important, just a better visibility for any radar signal ...
My s7's do really well and id never trade it for a m4 ..


If you find a detector with the s7 horn sealed then heck yea, go for it, just know that that box and detector is getting old like two years old abouts...

Dont pull your hair out looking for a S7, if you see it and its a good price, grab it...

If not you might get a s7 but, a out of tuned s7 and maybe a self cal'd s7...

I wouldnt worry about the S7 that much though my bel995 version 4.5 is a "ka magnet" on its off day at that, does well on x and k as well...
I also have a x50 rev5 and a rev 3...
That rev 3 has been used twice in the two years Iv had it...
All s7 horns here and happy as ever...

the 9500i uses the m4 horn so, I heard there really sensitive, but as for x50's and vector detectors m4 platforms, **** them!!

Thanks..That helps alot...I'll keep my eye out for a S7...Any suggestions on where to look?
