G'Day Experts!
My new BEL RX65 gives constant laser falses, when I'm driving into the general direction of the Sun, especially mornings and early evenings. When there's snow on the ground (as there is for at least five months here in Vermont), it's worse, as reflected sunlight sets off laser warnings. I keep hitting the _mute_ button, then a few seconds later, it comes back.
This past January I got nailed by real radar because I couldn't pick it out from the laser falses, and heed the warning. Is there a way to temporarily disable the Laser warnings? Use an infrared filter from the Edmonds catalog? Did I buy the wrong detector? Would another give me the feature that I need?
Cheers!
Rob

of course it cost you a ticket, what can you do... PM Roy, tell him about your unique case, just copy this thread and the other one in the General section and ask him to try speeding up the exchange... nothing else, nothing more you can do... also, for the bad device you got and the pain in the pocket due to the traffic ticket they should throw you something for free, some accessories for your RD that you don't have now, that's all about customer service... best of luck
