Default Hey buds I finally got it, and it's freeking cool!!

I got it a few days ago my beloved Bel 995, it's so cool and nice looking. It feels solid and heavy in my hand, so it must be a top quality detector, am I correct?

Here are a few questions I'd like you to help me with if it's possible.

    # Where can I find the most accurate and recent web information about each radar bands used in every country used in EU and Scandinavia?

    # What radarbands should I leave on and what bands to turn off?

    # Is it possible to turn of the Vg2 or is it permanent?

    # Should POP always be ON or should it be turned off?

    # I got the detector with the M4 antenna is this one less better than the old S7 antenna? Does the M4 have better performance and sensetivity over the S7 type?

    # Is it worth to pay an extra 29 $$ US Dollars, to register at the Beltronics website and recieve the extra 2 years of warranty they offer, is it offered for European Bel users too?

    # I was driving near a shopping mall, and the detector started to scatter, the radar bands that came up were K, Ka and X, those three bands were scattering, are motion detectors at shopping malls working on K and Ka band?

Thanks for your help forum buds I'm a novis when it comes to radar detectors so I appreciate if forum members take their time to help me with these questions. Thanx 8)

When is it necessery to upgrade your RADAR DETECTOR?

Where do I acess to get the new software?

    Thanx for your input.

It isn't the best out there, but for the price it is really good, I own one too.

No idea about the first question, because I am in the US.

Again, it depends on where you live, but for EU users I think Ku should be kept on, unlike us in the US that normally shut it off. So, keep everything on for a while and see what you do and do not get.

VG2 is built in, you cannot shut it off.

Having pop on or off is up to you, I shut it off because I never seemed to get a real alert from it, and apparently cops cannot clock using pop...

Very little if any diff between the two antennas based on what I have read here... correct me if I am wrong guys.

I would say the extra 2 years is a good idea since a lot (including my RD) get the service required message about a year later... mine started right after my warranty so I had to pay 58 bucks for them to fix it.

Alarm systems I have come across all seem to run on X or K, never had a Ka false, but again, I live in the US.

ide use low x or even no x depending on how bad it is. Do you have confirmed xband usage where you live?

So far it is an okay detector. I haven't had any saves yet. Nor have I been impressed with its alerts. I could see every single alert before my detector alerted......

Denmark: K, and Ka 34,36 GHz (Multanova) - you definitely need RX65e. V995 is insufficient.
