Ohio Highway Patrol busy today; holiday weekend
Its a Holiday weekend and you sure can tell. Im in Ohio on I-71 and I have been hit with x-band instant 3 times and 2 laser shots from center of median. I am glad I had the CB on cause with no laser jammer I would have been toast. STI putting in overtime this weekend forsure. :shock:
They probably have aircraft up also! A scanner or CB would definitely be helpful.

Glad the CB is doing its job - I have definetly seen a pick up in LEO activity in my area over the past few weeks...
The Turnpike from I-77 to I-280 was absolutely infested yesterday....A ton of K band, and of course, Lidar.
upstate newyork was swamped with constant on ka 34.7 Thursday. Illinois on Wednesday was busy along with Iowa also. Holiday or end of the month quotas probably.
Yeah, returning from the outlet mall going back to the capital I saw three. I got lasered once. I went to three truck stops, Best Buy and CC and did not see any sales on RD besides a crapra or two.

All in the name of "Public Safety" of course.
Had to go back to mall, and I saw a k-band statie go across grass median for client. Then saw laser with the cop coming out and pointing to customer. I swear I saw the kbanders wearing county mounty outfits. Maybe they join the staties in their cars.
I came down 71 from just north of Columbus this morning, in 43 miles I was shot 2 times with x band, and 3 times with laser. From mile marker 116 in Ohio to the kentucky line I counted 12 staties. I crossed the line and in KY on 71 there is a 55 mph zone just south of cincinatti and there were 5 Kentucky staties on the northbound side all with customers writing them up.
No thats overkill if you ask me.
