995 vs rx65e
A little test between vector 995(v6.3) and rx65e (v6.4)....
i can't understand why my 995 alerts full bar it has almost no ramp up... it alerts that's ok . this video was made at midnight in bucharest romania , the radar was a phyton II k band .
Talk with me about the performance of these two radar detectors it;s about the same isn't it ?

i'm referring to the performance in this video to this unit's . on the same car same position same traffic conditions as you all can see. the question is why the 995 goes full throttle with the ramp up and dose not have a ramp up like the rx65e in this video . ( especially in highway mode ) after the corner goes full in the ramp up compared to the rx65e
Both units picked up the signal just as you turned the corner, but the question should be, which unit would have picked up the signal first if the test area was longer and straighter.

Ramp up of Vector series and RX65 with rev 6.3 is far from perfect (6.1 was even worse). I noticed the same when compared to RX65e (rev 6.4). RX65e is designed to pick up very weak signals, so the ramp up need to be different because it must show signal fluctuations at low level.
@djrams80: indeed the first witch would have alerted first would have been the winner. I will try to find one in straighter and longer area .
