do cobras false on 33.8

[V1 on the go]

As I was drving my sister car with the rx65 hooked up got one ka blip shown 33.7. It was only 1 second. The leo around me only use 35.5 ka band and some k band. So I know that there isnt any 33.8 around. Could this be a false comming for a cobra or some where else. I had this happen to me couple of weeks ago at differnent placed with the same situation.

Very possible. They do false on Ka band. But keep in mind MPH dual lane Ka radar is on the 33.8 frequency.

Yep. Some cobras false in the ~33.6 range.

Yes, usually the 11/12-band models with VG2 detection enabled (factory default) will park on ~(33.7/3)Ghz

i tried to purposely set of my rx65 by connecting my cobras on in another car, and was surprised that it filtered out the false alarms of the cobras. from what some people on here have told me, the rx65 is very good at filtering cobras. it proved itself to me at least that one time..also i have never had my rx65 even alert to a 33.5 alert.

I had an intersting one today, a BMW 750iL that constantly falsed at 34.400. I was stuck behind him in traffic for miles. When an SUV got between us, it stopped, then started again once he moved out of the way. I think it was the shark fin antenna on top. The 9500ix only detected it when I was right up on him, but the 9500ci could detect it from 150 ft or so.

I had a BMW pass me once (my new rabbet) that made my 9500 false to KA.
