Ka alert... Amazed at where it came from

At a intersection at a stop light, STi gave me a single chirp for the Ka alert and alert was increasing. I was looking back and ahead for a LEO to cruise by, about 20 seconds later and when the alerts were at full strenght, here comes a county LEO on a motorcycle from opposite lane! I didn't know LEO in my county had stationary radar gun fixed on his motorcycle. First time for everything.

I've only seen one of those. My brother in San Antonio says his local moto units all have mounted radar.

I've seen a CHP with one. Back in my V1 days, I got a Ka in Santiago Canyon and was surprised to see it was a motorcycle cop coming the other direction. It was actually one of my better V1 saves.

I think the one I saw was CHP also, but I can't be totally sure, because he was just entering the freeway going in the opposite direction, on the 101 up by Santa Barbara.

I saw a CHP motor unit with fixed 34.7 also on I-5 South of Sacramento, came on the entrance ramp, picked him up from behind and he quickly passed me and kept signal until he was 3/4 mile ahead of me.

I'm in Tyler,tx now and the moto units here have K band mounted on there bikes shooting I/O down the streets.

Yeah here right outside of richmond, va, they have mounted radar units. I got lasered about a year ago and then my rd alerted to Ka. I looked and it had one mounted.

Yep, they're all over the place in Florida. They like to hide behind trees so my RX65 has saved me quite a few times.

I've seen CHP, ISP (IL), and CPD (Chicago) all with the mtorocyle version of the Stalker Dual.

Every motorcycle LEO in my area has mounted 35.5...Huge headache to spot
