Default Quite happy with the Bel

Did a 550 mile ride through rural AZ with another buddy. Just two sport bikes with a near empty road and perfect weather up in some remote mountains. The bikes got a lot of exercise through the rev range with that engine singing away...it was a thing of beauty.

Likewise, the Bel Vector 955 did a fantastic job of sniffing out out about 10 radar locations on the trip. The RD's performance could not have been better.

It was a very nice ride.

I just wanted to pass along this thank you note to Bel.

10 speed traps in 550 miles!?!?!?

I know where I'm not moving to. I couldn't go a week without losing my license.

In the city it's worse with 100+ speed cameras.

I encountered nearly two dozen speed traps over a distance of nearly 400 miles after I left College Station TX on a Saturday evening to head home to GA. No kidding. I am not exageratting in the least.

Over the weekend I was radared in Pinetop/Showlow at least 80-90 times if not more. They had signs all over saying speed strictly enforced for the holiday. Even the signs had the K band Decatur drones on them.
Had a few nice Ka saves on the way back home to Phoenix.

Almost forgot the nice GX-65 photo camera save in Star Valley.......its a fixed cam on the side of the road with the camera painted the same shade of brown/red as the surrounding hill/enbankment. GX went off and I still didnt see the cam till I was on it.

Yeah, most all my radar hits were within an hour or two of Phoenix, but once I was wayyy out there, it got real quiet...radar-wise, but the engine had more...uh...exercise.

I've beat instant on several times on my bike, The rd's only let you know when they fire. But they have no edge with using it if you hammer the anchor, its whos ever quickest to the draw.

Eyes and quick reflex is the only winning solution.

RX65 Beltronics, can't tell you how much my butt's been saved going between Toledo,Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA, at least 12, with 5-6 being in a 2 miles workzone just in the PA border.

I make this trek yearly for a convention so I'm sure I'll see at least 12 again this year.
