Just ordered the RX65 Pro!

From my own experience, the I/O is right on. Also it picks up I/O blips really good IMO. Theres been many times i've run into I/O on the Texas highways and if its relatively busy , it will catch a blip up to 2miles(from my own experience-I20 Abilene to Ft.Worth) As said the off axis is complaint, but gives plenty of warning. It didn't take me long to memorize the different chirps.

Just letting you know, I've run into a LEO whose Stalker registered as 34.4 Ka on the STI and X50. That would be missed under Ka USA.

Congrats on your new purchase. I upgraded to my RX65 about 4 years ago and I couldn't be happier.

BTW, you need to post a few pics of your MR2--I've always had a soft spot for them!

My RX65 finally arrived! I had fun on the way to work today on I-10. The range is noticeably better than the V955, but my only complaint is that the V955 was louder on alerts, and the LED display was clearer to read on the V955. I am loving the RX65's Tech Mode though! First Ka 34.725 alert was awesome lol

What were the recommended settings for Houston, TX? POP off and Ka USA? or should put it on Ka INTL in case the radar gun is out of calibration?

I would say USA mode. From the sounds of things in Tx., you need all the help you can get with I/O 34.7.
