Sti R Discontinued ?

Mehhh, with Ka-band segmentation, "Marginally" is a word that is up for much speculation.



If I had $600 to my name right now... I would have a Sti-R ordered already.

hell no what a news.. i love my sti-r.. maybe need to buy one spare unit than... this is just a PERFECT detector for europe. i hope a replacement with ka-segmenting will become available asap

There shouldn't be a need to buy a spare... just because they are discontinuing it doesn't mean they wont service the unit anymore... that should still be available if you need it.

well ok i know.. i'm not so much worried about the service but the fact that it will no longer be available.. e.g. for a new car etc. still i can't understand why they are discontinuing it.. probably the best detector for europe

They are sometimes a little "off" over there at Belscort if you haven't noticed... giving us all the detectors we don't want, and skirting around the detector we have all hoped for.

unfortunatelly you are right.. really the thing that i will miss the most is ka-segmenting they better come up with a new model or.. or.. or nothing as there is no other choice anyway which they are very well aware of.....
