Should i upgrade my RX65?

Right now i have a Bel RX65 RD and was considering the Escort 9500ix or V1 as a replacement because of the good reviews i have seen and read plus the gps on the escort. But what im have trouble with is, is it really worth spending 400 or 500on one of those for the kinda of driving i do. Im on the highway mostly going fast but safely with a little bit of city driving, so are those RD's alot better for my kind of driving or are the differences not enough to spend alot that money upgrading. Im planning on a good jammer soon as well LI or M-47. Thanks

The V1 is excellent for highway driving w/the arrows. Is $400 worth it? Many will tell you the V1 is quite a bargain.

Your RD is plenty good for dealing with SoCal CHP. Get a jammer.

I believe your detector is ok for now wait and do everything together, what I mean is upgrade your detector when you are able to buy all at once that way you get everything working together all at once not piece by piece.

To piggy back on this thread and not spam the BEL section, i'm looking to buy & overnight a RX65... Whats the range on detection(RX65)? My 955 give me a 1/4 of a mile notification (sometimes 1/2 of a mile). Flat out should i buy it or invest in a more expensive/reliable RD?

Not much of an upgrade in detection abilities, if any. In order to see a significant increase in detection, you'd have to get to the 9500ix, V1, STi, RedLine level.
