Default Woops, laser ticket - No STI Alert.+QUESTION on Blinder

Here I am driving for school, late (unusually) and so much that I take another route. Limit is 30kmph, I'm driving and at the stop I see a lady rolling her hands at me to pull over. I freak out cuz Ill never have time to pull down my Sti from the sun visor, so I go in a prking and make a u turn about 100 meters from her while taking it off ...lol... I never got an alert from the Sti which is sad- guess she was close. Ultralyte 20-20, and she even showed me my speed > 59. i was lucky. But im getting an m27 soon...with wireless kit.
I have a question too though. I have an audi, can I install it at the bottom of the grill (the bottom of the bottom - almost near the ground) or is that too low. Or could I do like the Laser Star stupid jammer Audi A4 and place it behind the grill (not recommended)...

I would mount at the bottom of the top grille and just cut the plastic grille to fit the heads

Can you post a pic of the front of your car, or a link to a picture of it?

Look into a cheap ebay replacement for the grill that you can mod, then you can swap it in till you give the car back, at which point you put the original back in.

I havent made enough posts to post images or links but look at the picture up there (its the same as my car)

Ah yes, and maybe I keep the part that I take out and glue it back in or something...hahaha.
What about putting it at the bottom (look at the picture, about a few pixels from the bottom there is a air intake -> which could be a laser intake!)
    Thanx though

the problem with the lower mount points is that you run into the problem of punch trhus on the headlights due to the sensor being farther away fro the head light

You are probably right about it being too low, even if it is a m27...I guess i better use good glue then...
