I shopped around for my install and the norm seemed to be about $250+ or they just charged $55 an hour. I did it myself and it took about 3hrs.
Did it myself. It's a fairly easy installation just time consuming. It took me a few hours as well.
its about $50/hr and takes professionals like 2-3 hrs to do it. i would negotiate a flat rate though, so they cant work super slow and charge you more. go to local auto sound & security shops and ask for quotes.
I did mine myself and it took more than a few hours. But my install was a bit custom.
Contrary to popular belief, some Best Buy stores have excellent installers. The majority/rest of them suck pretty bad though. As everyone said, 2-3 hours should be the norm for a standard install.
