Thinking about STi-R

Once I have the Blinder M47 paid off, I was thinking about trading in/selling my windshield mount STi Driver for an STi-R, now that they are relatively inexpensive. This way I can achieve a totally stealthed out ride, and NOT have to worry about people riding my a$$ bcause I have an RD on my windshield...

For those of you familiar with my "Stealthmobile", where would one suggest mounting the receiver?



I have heard of persons mounting the receiver within close proximity to their laser jammers and getting a constant LIDAR alert. If I were to mount it in or behind the grille, would this not happen??? Any other suggestions? I want to maximize radar reception, but also want to be able to still receive LIDAR if and when I have to shut the M47 off...

mines under my license plate, i dont know if the gap under yours is big enough to fit it, but mine did.

i also had a STI driver, and switched to the STI R, they're quite similar. just the stealth is very very nice. the STI - R usually would win though, barely. it's nice not having to worry about taking it down, and the little controls are awesome. you'll def be happy with it. detection wise with default settings will be similar, but the STI R has segmentation, RDR filtering, which the driver doesnt. when those are configured, the STI R always wins.

You will be very happy with the STI-R,I've had mine for a couple of months and love it. These pictures show where I placed the antenna on my Jeep. You have plenty of places to put it on your ride.

turn laser off then, i noticed a little bit of gain on detection from it. not saying a lot, but whatever helps.

i meant there are no transcient lidar interference from the LI to the radar detector

I don't get any interference from my jammers to the STI-R.

My Sti-R is under my plate and was very close to my LPP sensors with the parking aid enabled.

Never had an alert from the LPP on my STi-R.

Please do not mount behind the grill. You would be better served keeping your STi or getting a redline before you do that.
