Something else you might noticce is that the FCC ID for the 795 without the "RS" (Radioshack?) on the end is used for the BEL Express series.

Those band leds would be a snap to change, unlike the V1 .
Power: Green.
City: Yellow.
Bands: Green, Yellow, Red.
Signal strength : Green, Yellow, Red, Red.

Mine seems to work well with the RX65 smartplug. The lights (alert and power) seem a little bright, but the mute/volume button and blinking alert lamp function exactly like the RX65. There also seems to be a plug in the audio out of the case.
