    Default GX65 muntiple Bogie question.

    I am looking at both a GX65 and 9500ix. I currently have a Bel RX65.

On the Bel RX65 you an set it to tech mode and it will see muntiple bogies as long as they are different signals. Ex. it will see One Ka One K and One x. But NOT 2Ka or 2K or 2x.

From what I understand the 9500ix will show Muntiple bogies even if they are the same band up to 2 Ka, 2 K, and 4 X.

Looking at the manual for the GX65 it looks and reads just like the RX65, but the Beltronics Live Chat stated it does in fact show muntiple bogies of the same band. Ex 2 Ka will be alerted to you.

Is this the case? If so I will be leaning back toward the GX65 from the 9500ix as I like the way it displayes tech mode better with the number counter over the verticle mini bar.

Also has anyone upgraded from an RX65 to GX65 or 9500ix, and was it worth the upgrade for the extra features as radar detection should be similar? Any regrets?

Thanks in advance for the help.

GX65 is the same as the RX65, only ONE will show under the Threat Mode.

Am I correct then about the Escort 9500ix having that ability of two of the same being detectable?

Yes... Expert mode on all Escorts that have it display 4X/2K/2 Ka. Threat mode on Bels display only 1 of each.

Live chat/CS is being stretched thin at Belscort causing confusion.

LOL. Hold time was kind of long, and you could tell by the delayed response that he was doing Live Chats with more than one person. But I must say they still have some of the best customer service out there. Nice in this day and age. It is one of the reasons I have continued to use them.

Has anyone here upgraded from an RX65/8500 to an GX65/9500ix? Since their sensitivity is about the same was it worth the upgrade for the extra features, and were there any regrets?
