Wow, I have had my STI Driver for about 2 years now and not one complaint. Its been great with some of the longest warning distances of anyone i know, even as good as the V1. Sorry to hear youre having trouble with it.

AX0041061009 i think that is the 10th week of 09 and the date on the antenna inside is 07/08/09.
I sent it back to bel 4 pm today and they are going to fix it for 59.00 for a new antenna

Escort customer service is usually very good.
    Call the 1-800 number.
Did u buy it from an authorized dealer?
Yes. When was the last time u sent it to them. Was it was during the warranty period. If so then u should not have to pay a dime.
Escort should be fixing it for free. Even if it is out of warranty.
No then u have to pay to fix and retune.

no I bought it new used in the box from a local pawn dealer for 215.00 it had a 30 day exchange from them if i did not like it. I tested it out with my radar guns k and ka band before i bought it and it worked well for 6 months.

That's an awesome price u got. Get it fixed and retuned and try it out. Then if you are not happy sell it, u could easily make $50 above your cost and then buy a V1 or Redline.
