Yeah, I had an absolutely massive post that completely would have obliterated the quip about "the defense"... stuff going back all the way to X50's, beta-testing users w/33.8Ghz on the Sti... etc. All that was dedacted (so to speak)... simply because it is Thanksgiving and there is no need to argue:

BTW: Whistler is releasing their newest unit as likely a computer-compatible for updates, so you asked me to name one and... ugh... I did. Furthermore, jammer companies have been doing this for awhile: Except they actually *cough, cough* release patches to fix or change things consumers want.

Also kudos to Whistler for fixing the 3600 BEFORE the release, giving it more sensitivity on K band.

I too wish I could get more warning distance to marked locations too!

Not enough warning time!!! If all it is is a timing issue given a speed (which it seems to be) then Escort PLEASE INCREASE THE TIMING on my SC55!!!!

This is also my biggest problem. Please fix this - or put it back to what it was when I bought it.I think the first or secound update made it way too short.

I'm still waiting for a new top-notch firmware update.

As a customer i desire to:
1. Increase QT response using band segmentation and RDR on/off.

2. Improve ramp up so distance to the LEO is easer to pinpoint.

3.Buy a European-specific software that will load into GX65, we have money but we can't spend it . Why ???????

4.Fix the distance for the marked location. Speed camera radius is too small.

Thats what I would do (I already it). The blue just does not fit in my Audi

The 9500ix seems like a more refined detector than the Gx-65. The performance and features will be similar, but the voices and marked location distance warning plus the auto lockout feature make the 9500ix a better choice. My problem is the wife hates the GX and if I need a marked location detector, I end up with the GX ifshe is using the 9500,and the GX is pretty much useless for market locations. I have been hit by laser and radar before the marked location alerts.
