    Default Bel E 895???/

    Is there a Bel E895 model too? how does it fare in detection and price?
    Is it any good? :?:

    Yes there is a Bel 895 that Radio Shack sells.
    It is a great unit, I have been using it along with my V1 and it will alert at the same time as my V1 sometimes it will alert before the V1 does by a split second.
    A lot of people say do not use the autoscan feature because it seems to loose detection range, but I have not noticed it.
    I have been running with autoscan since I have gotten it and love it!

    Is the E795 and E895 the same boomerman? I am going to move to chicago will it help me out there?What do cops use there?

    No they are not the same, BIG difference in performance!!
    The 895 is a good unit for $200

    Here is a link to read about the 895. It is from the Vector series which is supposed to be much better than the "E" series. A lot of bang for the buck.
